General Information:

East Los Angeles Community College offers high-quality academic programs in a secure and comfortable environment. Established in 1945, ELAC is situated in the suburban community of Monterey Park. Our international and multicultural student body of over 20,000 students complements the communities that ELAC serves. Currently, 700 International Students from over thirty different countries are enrolled at ELAC. The college is on a session system. There are two sessions in the college year, Fall and Spring; Summer and Winter session are optional. Our international Students have transferred to prestigious universities throughout the United States such as the University of Southern California and other top private institutions including UCLA and Berkeley and many other top universities. In addition ELAC offers Associate in Arts/Science (A.A./A.S.) Degrees as well as Certificate Programs.
