A native of San Bernardino, California, Tessa Troglia comes to East Los Angeles College with great credentials as a player and coach.
In addition to being a tremendous player at La Serna High in Whittier, California and California State University, Los Angeles, Tessa played for F.C. Girona, a Division I Women’s Professional team in Spain. She also played for Rampage and LAFC for the Women's Premiere Soccer League.
Tessa has coached at La Serna for the past nine years as the Head coach for the Girls’ Varsity Soccer Program. In fact, in 2008 her team went undefeated in league and clinched the CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) Championship. The Championship came just months after winnning a State Championship with the Women's Soccer Program at Cerritos College, as the Assistant Coach in 2007.
In 2010, Tessa led the East Los Angeles Huskies to their first ever Playoff berth in the history of the Program. The team also finished 2nd in a very tough South Coast Conference. Tessa currently runs clinics for the new Futbol Club in Whittier, OC Revolution. She currently possesses her National "B" Coaching license.
In her free time, Tessa likes to workout, nap, play cards, and play Halo 3 on Xbox Live, for which she usually doesn’t have much time.
