Question: What is my ACE (user name) Login?
Answer:
For Faculty ACE Login:
The username (ACE Login) is generated from a faculty's name using the [first six letters of the last name] + [initial of first name] + [initial of middle name].
For instance: Mark R. Robinson would have this username is robinsmr
For Student ACE Login:
Note: All students who are enrolled in at least one class, except for Non-Credit & Community Services classes, are automatically assigned an ACE login account.
The username (ACE Login Account) must be 9-digit number of student's ID, starting with 88.
For example, a student named John M. Smith with student ID number 881234567 then the
Username is 881234567.

Question: What is my e-mail address and password (Student/Faculty & Staff)?
Answer:
For Faculty and Staff (email address & password):
The email address is the same as your ACE login username but you have to add @elac.edu at the end. For instance: your ACE Login Account is robinsmr then your email address must be robinsmr@elac.edu.
The password starts with "Elac" and is followed by the last six digits of the faculty/staff's employee number. For example, if Mark Robinson's employee number is 10712345, his password must be Elac712345.
For Student (email address & password):
The e-mail address is generated from a combination of the Student’s name and ID number; it must be [the first three letters of your last name] + [the first three letters of your first name] + [the last 5 numbers of your Student ID].
For Instance: Student name is John Smith with Student ID is 881234567 then his email address must be Smi + joh + 34567 = smijoh34567@go.elac.edu
The password starts with “Elac” and is followed by the month and day of the student's birthday using this format ElacMMDD. Note that the “E” must be capitalized. In the example above, the student has a birthday of January 8 and the password would be as follows: Password: Elac0108

Question: What is the different between Academic and Administrative e-mail account?
Answer:
The Administrative email account is only for faculty and staff. They can use this email account only in the Campus.
The Academic email account is for student, faculty and staff. They can use from outside of the campus,
which mean they can access to their email account from home or elsewhere from the campus.

Question: How do I log in my email account?
Answer:
Go to https://webmail.go.elac.edu/. Enter your user name and password (using ACE account) then click the log on button.

Question: I have troubled log in my email account. What should I do or who do I contact?
Answer:
First of all, please check your user name and password to make sure all are corrected. If you don't know what is your user name and password, please click here.
