The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the federal application for financial aid. This application is also used to apply for aid from other sources, such as state and school.

FAFSA application processes:

1. Complete the FAFSA application on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov
2. List East Los Angeles College's institution code: 001222
3. After the FAFSA is submitted on-line, it may take anywhere between 3 to 15 days for the Department of Education to forward your information to our campus.
4. Therefore, it is to your advantage to apply as early as possible to meet the application deadline, we must have all of your documents by the last day of your enrollment period; we recommend that you do not go beyond the date listed below to submit your application.
